Telecommunications Inventory
Management Service (TIMS)
ISG's Telecommunications Inventory Management Service (TIMS) is
ideal for clients that do not want responsibility for the management
of telecommunications process methodologies and associated software
systems. This service offsets staff limitations and augments functions
that support telecommunications and IT operations.
ISG's TIMS is
designed to manage telecommunications and IT infrastructures by
establishing and maintaining an inventory database of network services
and associated infrastructure items. ISG then captures all ongoing
invoice change activity and reconciles these changes against provisioning
information. ISG verifies that new services are billed correctly,
disconnected services are removed from billing and service changes
are accurately reflected. All exceptions and out of compliance
situations are managed by ISG. Finally, all activity is maintained
and updated in the inventory database. Exceptions requiring further
action are managed by ISG.
Deploying TIMS helps organizations control physical assets and
associated expenditures for all appropriate circuit and equipment
components. Resident data can be used for analysis, reporting and
ad-hoc queries.
ISG's TIMS service will:
Support inventory database management
Facilitate install/move/add/change service order
management
Reconcile vendor billing with work order activity
Provide information invaluable for controlling technology
